C41
General Qualities & Characteristics
RODS C41 is an extreme pressure, biostable semi synthetic coolant containing
ingredients carefully selected for their low order of toxicity and which are
designed to form a high performance coolant when diluted with water.
Typical Applications
Sawing,
turning, milling, drilling, grinding.
Material Compatibility
Suitable for
machining a wide variety of materials including cast iron, mild steels, cuprous
alloys and stainless steels.
Water Compatibility
Tolerant of a
wide range of water hardnesses. Low foaming in softer waters and low scumming
in hard water.
Sump Life
A very long sump life is ensured by making use of biostatic raw
materials where possible and combining the remainder with appropriate
bactericides and fungicides. It offers
therefore great resistance to bacterial breakdown.
